La carrozzeria resiste ai proiettili e, come optional, si può avere la protezione dagli impulsi elettromagnetici

Con la nuova generazione di Jeep Wrangler, anche tutti quei veicoli basati sulla stessa piattaforma del fuoristrada statunitense si sono evoluti con il nuovo modello 2019. E questo è il caso della nuova Rezvani Tank, il SUV più cattivo che ci sia.

Se una Wrangler base può essere portata a casa per circa 48.500 euro, per mettersi una Tank base in garage di deve spendere una cifra minima di 155.000 dollari (138.000 euro), 295.000 (263.000 euro) per una Tank Military Edition corazzata e ben 349.000 (311.000 euro) per la super Tank X.

La Rezvani Tank top di gamma che vedete nelle foto è spinta dallo stesso V8 da 6.2 litri sovralimentato della Dodge Demon, ma ulteriormente potenziato per arrivare a oltre 1.000 CV e 1.180 Nm di coppia. Numeri impressionanti tanto da classificarlo come il SUV più potente del mondo. Con buona pace di Lamborghini Urus e compagne.

Con gli optional il prezzo prende il volo

Se pensate però che con quella cifra ci si porti a casa una versione di tutto punto... bhe, non è così. Come optional sono disponibili un sistema di visione notturna termica per 6.500 dollari (circa 5.8000 euro), pedane laterali automatiche per 2.500 (circa 2.230 euro) e un pacchetto di illuminazione interna per altri 2.500.

A livello meccanico, Rezvani mette a disposizione sospensioni FOX per le gare in fuoristrada a 12.500 dollari (circa 11.140 euro) e interni in pelle con sedili riscaldati e ventilati per ulteriori 5.500 (4.900 euro).

Per oltrepassare la soglia dei 400.000 dollari finali inoltre è possibile optare anche per l'impianto audio Focal a 12.500 dollari, per le telecamere laterali a 850 (circa 757 euro) e per il serbatoio di scorta a 7.500 (6.690 euro).

Rispetto alla generazione precedente, la nuova Rezvani Tank monta ora porte posteriori a cerniera anteriore e maniglie tradizionali; resiste ai proiettili e per 2.500 dollari extra può essere protetta dagli impulsi elettromagnetici (EMP). Insomma, non manca niente per affrontare una guerra nucleare.

Sia benzina che diesel

Se il V8 vi sembra esagerato, è possibile scegliere la Tank con altri motori. Di base c'è un 2.0 turbo a quattro cilindri da 285 CV, ma Rezvani afferma che è solo per veicoli di esportazione. Si trova poi un V6 da 3.6 litri aspirato da 285 CV e un V8 da 6.4 litri da 500 CV. C'è anche un diesel a listino, un V6 3.0 da 285 CV.

Per quanto riguarda la Tank Military Edition invece, le uniche motorizzazioni disponibili sono il V8 da 500 CV, il diesel da 285 CV e il super V8 da 1.000 CV di provenienza Demon optional da 149.000 dollari (132.840 euro).

Building on the success of TANK, the all new 2020 Rezvani TANK, a street-legal, Xtreme Utility Vehicle (XUV),  embodies many of the same characteristics found on its military predecessor.  Under the hood of the TANK X trim is a new powerful 6.2-liter Supercharged V8 found in the Dodge Demon, tuned further by Rezvani to deliver over 1,000 horsepower and 870 pound-feet of torque; making it the most powerful production SUV in the world. Rezvani TANK features a steel body-on-frame design, and an on-demand four-wheel-drive system standard on all trims.

Designed to be a daily driver, Tank was inspired by the look of some of the world's most recognizable military vehicles, but designed for civilian use. Extensive development was done on the suspension of the all new TANK to make it one of the most planted and comfortable SUV's on the planet. A  luxurious interior ensure driver and passenger feel like they are in a special vehicle. Many elements of the interior are customizable including seat style, stitching, and  color of the gauge cluster.  Tank features serious off-road capability with 37” tires, Fox racing suspension, Dynatrac axle set with air lockers and an air compressor, Dynatrac ProGrip front and rear brakes, front 1350 and rear 1410 driveshafts, and optional Fox racing 3.0 Internal Bypass Shocks with DSC. The cabin is defined by a hand-stitched Leather Package that provides comfort and compatibility for driver and passengers alike, with leather seats and a suede headliner.
